Doxing is the releasing of personal information regarding an anonymous user of the internet. The info consists of extremely sensitive data such as Social Security numbers, phone numbers, credit card info, aliases, addresses, and so on. Obviously, releasing such data over the web can cause a great deal of harm to the person that was doxed.
